My favourite place to eat without fail, I’m a student & it’s brilliant value for money, you can sort yourself out with £7.50 for a meal including tea or coffee & bread. If you don’t like an item in the meal they usually swap it with something else no added cost. Friendly Staff, Great for families. We go here AT least once or twice a month without fail. They serve food within 5 -10 minutes every time consistently, clean cutlery & plates. Comfiest chairs. Uplifting, positive decorations hanging inside. Tables always clean & stocked up with condiments. Parking is free outside, great stuff! Can’t complain about one thing.

Passed through since reviews were good. Got a wrap and cino to go. The wrap stayed hot for quite a while which was great and the cino too. The customer service was indeed good.

Found this cafe on Google maps, we needed a cafe with an early start for our journey home to Cheshire and this was just right, Great service, great staff, great food at a great price and the toilet was clean. Can highly recommend J and J's any time of the day.

Fantastic Food & Service as normal. They know how to interact with the locals & we all love that. The food is great value & always served hot and quickly whether it's a cup of coffee or a full Breakfast My family Love this place.

Normally go in on Saturday for breakfast. The breakfasts are really nice, always piping hot and freshly cooked. The cheese omelette's are to die for, the set breakfasts are really nice. Yes the pricing seems expensive but I eat in London and for the same breakfast you get here in London it's about £2 - £3 more expensive. I have tried the dinners, and they also come up piping hot. At times I have trouble finishing the meal and the staff are happy to box it up and let me take it away.

I’ve eaten in many cafes all over Essex and this is by far the best I have found. For me it’s about the quality of the food, portion size, the prices and the coffee, and on all these points J&J’s scores 5 points. It can get pretty busy at times, but isn’t that a good sign?
